In the older times (you know a year ago) it was thought that “Content is King.” Blogs were all over the place with amazing 1,000 word content. Slowly that turned into short Facebook post < 140 character Tweets < a picture. They say a picture can say 1,000 words, now more than ever in social media and online marketing this is key.
I can’t tell you how devastating it is when I try to pin something and there is no image to pin (ok not that devastating), but never the less without engageing images you are bound to get lost in this “Picture is King” society. According to a 2012 study by ROI Reserach “Forty-four percent of respondents are more likely to engage with brands if they post pictures than any other media.” This doesn’t mean to forget about content and personal engagement…..it simply means post pretty pictures.
